I have loved designing and making  jewellery for as long as I can remember.   After completing a 'Foundation of Art and Design' in Ulster University Belfast in 1997,  I went on to get a 'Ba Hons Degree in Silversmithing, Goldsmithing, Jewellery Design and Manufacture' in Kent, England, qualifying in 2000.

I then went on to live in Kanazawa, Japan. A time which I look back on very fondly. It was very inspiring and my love of the East continues.

I have been based back home in Northern Ireland on the stunning shores of  Strangford Lough  for the last 23yrs and life is constantly changing. Married with two beautiful children, two miniature dachshunds and a cat, I recognise more than ever how lucky I am to be able to have made my passion into my job.

I adopted a high standard of finish with my pieces early in my career while working for a nationally recognised  jewellery manufacturing company. That, and years of valuable bench time in the workshop for one of Northern Irelands most reputable Goldsmiths, means that I have a comprehensive understanding of every part of the process from design to completion.

Having concentrated solely on bespoke pieces,  gaining such pleasure from designing and making pieces for people over the years,  I am excited to introduce collections of my work. The design process lends itself well to exploring variations, perfect for building collections.  I draws inspiration from many different sources. 'The Kiss Hug Collection' simply grew from my signature!

Colour is usually evident in my pieces, via semi-precious and precious gemstones and also by the process of vitreous enamelling, a discipline I specialised in during my degree.

Sustainability & using recycled metals wherever possible is very important to me.
